"Rock n Roll Jesus" is the fifth single from Kid Rock's album Rock n Roll Jesus. It was typical bravado-laced Kid Rock about sex, drugs and rock and roll. It is a hard rock song with a jazz influence and a funk guitar riff strongly influenced by the AC/DC song "Get It Hot". The song was co-written by former lead guitarist Kenny Tudrick, who replaced Kenny Olson on the 2006 'Live' Trucker tour.
The chorus includes David McMurray on saxophone and Rayse Biggs on trumpet, both formerly with the 1980s group Was (Not Was). Larry Frantangelo can also be heard on the Wave Drums. It peaked at number 34 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
The song along with "All Summer Long" and "Son of Detroit" were featured in the guitar game Power Gig: Rise of the SixString.
